Global Stupidity is now Irreversible
If you listen to Chicken Little, Algore, Jacques Chirac, and their talking head media wanks, all the arctic sea ice is melting. Polar bears are dying out because they have no ice to fish from. Melt water is about to raise ocean levels world wide, and flood low lying parts of Florida, India, etc. In Paris, French President Jacques Chirac said. "We are in truth on the historical doorstep of the irreversible." Here The left wing nutballs may think its "irreversible," but if you are trying to buy fish this winter, its already been reversed.
According to reports from North Sea and Icelandic fishermen the Arctic ice pack has extended farther south than any time in the past 40 years. Fishing ports in Iceland have been blocked by polar sea ice, and polar bears have returned to Iceland riding the southward spreading sea ice. The spreading arctic sea ice is causing a shortage of fish in fish markets in North America and Europe because fishermen have been unable to fish.
Have you read or heard any of this on the US leftist media? Not a word. The same media that brings us weather forecasts so lame that they can't even get today's weather right by looking out their window is ranting on about how melting arctic ice is "irreversible" even while southward spreading arctic ice closes off fisheries that have been ice free for decades. The only thing that is apparently irreversible is the coming Global Stupidity, and that problem is still getting worse every year.

Good piece. You're on a roll and right on target, Bob.
And, right now they are trying to fire climatologists who don't believe in global warming, and specifically that it is caused by human behavior. I just read several cases on Drudge links.

Note to Anonymous: I'm not surprised that the left wingnuts are trying to silence reasonable men. It has long been the standard operating policy of PC leftists to attack and silence anyone who disagrees with their political beliefs.
Bob notes that it is the same leftist idiots who stopped clean non-CO2 emitting nuclear power who are now reanting about the harm done by CO2. The French are over 90% nuclear for their electicity, as are several other countires, while the USA has been controlled by "environmental" idiots.

Funny thing is you don't hear much of that at all.
In CHicago there were front page newspaper headlines when in January it was 10 degrees above average for like two weeks.
Rewind all of December when it was 10 degrees below average and then the past 4 weeks when its 20 degrees below average, not much coverage of that of course.
In the 70s there was hysteria of global cooling. If the CO2 emissions cause global warming, why were the termperatures going down between 1940 and 1970?
Well it's all the sunspot cycle. Global mean temperatures and solar activity are superimposable upon each other with the temperature exactly a year behind (much like the first month of summer is not the hottest).
THe past few years the sun has been unusually active, does anyone recall the massive solar flares the past few years? Some record breakers?
Also greenland ice sheet is getting thicker but retreating on the ends. The alps are getting warmer, but other parts of the world are not, alot of glaciers are actually getting bigger.
How can there be a runaway greenhouse effect when CO2 levels are still nowhere near 300 million yeas ago, when siberia was a desert? The earth is still here, as is most life.
Also the media kept saying that 2006 was the warmest year ever.
Um how can that be when in the year 1000 before the little ice age of the middle ages Erik The Red settle greenland and farmed there? Wouldn't that year be ALOT warmer than today?
This is all bullshit, in fact MOST of the scientists,including the head of the National academy of sciences agrees that man is not responsible for the temperature increase we see today in some areas.
Volcanic eruptions release more greenhouse gases in a day than man could make in decades. I don't buy into the hoopla.
Being a research scientist principal investigator, I need hard facts not hysteria.
The only evidence I see now is that the temperature folows solar activity, nothing else I have seen has any correlations. Even CO2 charts don't follow the temperature trend, check it out yourself.
The basis of all propaganda is that it can be sold to a bunch of unsuspecting, complete and total morons; and Global Warming is one of those (Propaganda) PR firm fabrications that is loaded with useless information that becomes adopted by a bunch of useful idiots as a "popular fact" Not the Truth.
PR can be described as Nothing Information. Just talk for the sake of talk; more so it is gossip.
Metaphorically speaking: it is a lot like a couple loudmouth women talking it up about a subject they know nothing about!
