This is really horrible. These sado-narcissists, for that is what these women are, are absolutely revolting.
Don't male doctors perform these same procedures on children as well? Not that I support it, but men are just as responsible for perpetuating this act as women.
Note to Craig: No, men doctors are much less likely to mutilate little boys any more than are female doctors, according to surverys by OBGYN Magazine and others. Mothers are also much more likely to sign their names to mutilate their sons than are fathers. And, of course, nobody mutilates a little girl. Hurting a girl is "bad."
Circumcision does not hurt the boy. If done in a Bris as an infant, he doesn't remember it at all. I personally know a man, a torah-keeping Christian, who plans on having his 6 year old son circumcised. He is saving money for this ceremony.

Sexual mutiltion done for the barbaric ritual sacrifice of a child is no less henious and no less of an extreme crulty to the child than when done for any other perverted reasons. The extreme sexual violence of sexual mutilation against little innocent boys has to stop!
I respect that you believe circumcision to be wrong. From a broader perspective, though, if you are so against a relatively benign procedure, why aren't you rallying against the chemicals that we make children ingest everyday, such as trans-fats and sugars and carbon monoxide, that leads to many more deaths around the globe than circumcision? It is a convenient cause to lobby for, but much less harmful in the grand scheme of things than allowing our kids to grow up as fat, alcoholic, welfare dads and moms.
Note to Craig: There is nothing benign about the violent sexual assault on a little child intended to cause life long loss of part of HIS body. In Florida, the sexual assault on a child which causes permanent physical injury is a death penalty crime. It's a good law. If the law enforced when a boy was the victim of extreme sexual violence it would stop.
Every child who's sex organs are mutilated suffers permanent injury, and some die. Most of the children who suffer from other kinds of abuse do not suffer permanent physical injury. Bob also advocates protecting children from other harm, but deliberate sexual assault which causes permanent injury to a child is among the worst that is done.
When a child is injured accidently it is a tragedy. When a child is injured delibertly it is a serious crime. The other things you mention, Craig, do not intentionally cause permanent injury to children.
Clearly excessive sugars, fats, and artificial ingredients cause no permanent health problems in today's children and adults... as witnessed by the worst-in-all-history rates of obesity, cancer, and mental health issues (as many as 50% of young people are now diagnosed with ADHD, Depression, and Anxiety Disorders), all of which have been linked to unhealthy lifestyles, diets, and social structures in the US and other 'developed' countries.
I understand your personal crusade, and I agree with you that circumcision should not be forced upon a child, but maybe you could commit your energy to problems that affect the masses! We are the fattest country in the world, and one of the unhealthiest...
Note to craig: I am having trouble understanding your point here. You seem to be saying that we shouldn't be concerned about the extreme sexual violence and mutilation of millions of innocent little children because some teenagers eat too much sugar. Somehow that makes no sense to me.
It's all about perspective. The foreskin is a valuable piece of a person that is cut off without there consent. I cannot argue with that. However, the vast majority of people (and I emphasize "vast") never experience problems with it, and live a normal, healthy life without it (arguably an even healthier life, on average, than uncircumcised individuals). On the other hand, there are thousands of other social issues happening every day that victimize children and adults much worse.
My point is this: You advocate for the oppression and victimization of millions of people on your blog every day (women, immigrants, racial and ethnic minorities, and so on), but you take great offense to an otherwise benign procedure that rarely creates medical problems for young boys. Just seems... inconsistent... that's all.

Homeopathic medicine was a more traditional way of healing your sickness, and people did not rely on doctors to cure them. They relied on there own instincts and knowledge of healing.
Today's so-called doctors are nothing more than glorified drug dealers.
The best advice you can give a person is to stay away from hospitals because your life depends on it.

Bob may have noticed that many people are already working on the problem of sugars and trans-fat. He chooses his calling in this post to eradicate circumcision because not enough people are fighting it.
Bob, I support you whole-heartedly. I am a man who suffered through puberty from having too much dick inside not enough skin. Whoever cut me at birth cut way too much, and I even have banana shaped boners as a result. If I could find that doctor I would give him a swift kick in the balls. I believe circumcision complications are underreported because like mine they don't become apparent until later in life, and I'm sure there's many men suffering the same thing as me, but don't recognize it as coming from their aggressively cut wang.
Needless to say I did not cut my son when he was born and I've educated myself enough to out-debate any pro-cut nuts in my path. I'm so proud of having a 100% healthy baby boy that has 100% of his body intact.

How about this... instead of blaming woman doctors for all of your problems, why don't we all do what beanie did, and simply choose not to have our children circumcised?!? I have 4 boys and none of them are circumsized. I remember my pediatrician giving me all the reasons why my husband and I should have them circumsized. Cleanliness, an increase in penile cancer, so they will look like other boys in the locker rooms. These were the dumbest reasons in the world. The male body was made a certain way for a reason! Why would anybody think it is ok to cut a piece of it off for any reason?? I truly don't understand why this ever started. There will never be any reason good enough. I remember someone at the time telling me that we would be sorry because our boys would hate us for this decision. None of them have ever hated us for this. Exactly the opposite. They also cannot imagine why anyone thinks it's ok to cut a piece of their son's penis off. Get real!!!! This is sexual mutilation of little boys and should be stopped ASAP!!
