Suffer the Crippled Children
In many cities around the US there are Shriners Hospitals for crippled children. The Shriners (a branch of the Masons) have donated money over many decades to fund and support free medical care for crippled children. Their hospitals do not charge patients. Thanks to the generosity of generations of Shriners, any crippled child in the US can have the best medical treatment available at no charge. That may end soon.
Typical of Shriners hospitals is the one in Spokane, WA. Since the Obama election and his disaster for the economy, their endowment has lost more than 3 billion dollars. They have had to reduce staff, reduce services, and are struggling to keep the doors open. If the Obamanation destroys the economy entirely, they will close and hundreds of crippled children will suffer. The same ongoing tragic story is being repeated in every city in the US. This is “change” we can believe in. This is the “change” of the Obamanation.
When we read that the stock markets have lost more than 50% of their value since the Obama election, we are tempted to think that its just some rich bastard on Wall Street that is suffering. Nothing could be farther from the truth. The owners of stocks are the millions of hard working Americans who have pension funds or savings. The owners of stocks are churches, universities, and charitable organizations such as the Shriners Hospitals. The beneficiaries of profits from stock investments are thousands of crippled children who get free health care. When Obama kills their investments, devalues their endowments, their doors will close, and the children will lose. We will all lose.

Bob, Good piece, very thought provoking. Just one question , you link to Save the Males, Henry Makow the moderator of the website constantly chastises the Masons because he claims they are linked with the Illuminati.Is there a difference between Free Masons and Masons? I am not being a wise guy, I just want a little clarification.

The Masons are also called Free Masons. Conspiracy theories like the so-called "Illuminati" are based on fiction. Its unfortunate that some people would rather believe fiction and chase mythical villains than deal with real problems. The Masons, or Free Masons, are more involved in taking care of crippled children than any political action.
My dad's a free mason. A great man who used to help kids, and even drove a bus full of retarded kids to school when he was younger.

I spoke today with a former Business Partner. He square dances with a Couple. The Husband is a former GE Employee, the wife in her 70s has a pension also. Until this month the Husband who is 77 received $5200 a month from his GE Pension, she received $2200 from hers. Now they jointly receive less than $450 monthly. This does not cover their utilities, Property Taxes, Food and Medicine.
Obama is destroying our capacity to recover from the Financial Crisis. Debt deflation cannot be cured with more debt. And raising taxes during a severe contraction costs more jobs.
The Real Unemployment is now 16%. The Official Labor Dept. # is 8%+. If the present trend continues by this Summer we could be at 30% unemployment.

Absent from Obama's rhetoric and legislation is any thought of equal rights for men. The NY Times editorial does not provide any details of how the new law is going to provide "greatly discounted prices" without a taxpayer subsidy. It sounds like another of Obama's standard lies. And, of course, the whole notion of equal medical availability for men is completely absent.

Long before Obama ran for office he was the lawyer for ACORN when they sued the government to enforce the CRA law which bankrupt the housing industry. CRA was passed by Democrat leftists, and strongly supported even as Bush tried to stop suicidal lending by Fannie and Freddie. The market crash began when Obama's election became probable. Blaming anyone else is an exercise in irrational nonsense.
